Crews had to make a tricky rescue in Baltimore County on Wednesday afternoon when an unsuspecting man plummeted 30 feet into a well. First responders from the Baltimore County Fire Department were called at around 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 16 to the 2100 block of Old Frederick Road in Catonsville, when a man found himself in a perilous position after suffering injuries falling into the well on an area property. An apartment fire at a senior living apartment in Baltimore County has sent one person to the hospital, authorities say. Firefighters responded to the scene on Clay Lodge Lane in Catonsville where they discovered the fire in a third-floor apartment shortly before 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 23, according to Baltimore County Fire officials.
