Officials in West Springfield warn residents to boil their tap water before consuming it after a water main broke on Tuesday, April 18, causing "dangerously lowered water pressure." Water Main Break In Shrewsbury Means Outages, Possible Discolored Water
Authorities in Shrewsbury are warning residents of possibly discolored water and outages after a water main burst on Straw Hollow Lane on Monday, Dec. 12. The town's Water & Sewer Division is working to repair the break, but workers will need to shut off the water in that area for six to eight hours. Caroline Avenue In Shrewsbury Is Closed
Caroline Avenue will be closed to through traffic now and until water damage has been repaired. On July 20, town officials announced that Caroline Avenue from Elm Street to Harrington Avenue will be closed while damage from a July 17 water main break is fixed.
