Dan Cleary Died After Falling From Truck In Charlton: DA Authorities have identified the 21-year-old man who died after he fell from a pick-up truck in Worcester County over the weekend, authorities said.  Dan Cleary, of Charlton, fell from a Ford truck around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, on Stafford Street, the Worcester County District Attorney said. He was a passenger.  Paramedics rushed Cleary to UMass Medical Center, where doctors pronounced him dead. The driver of the truck called police and remained at the scene, officials said. Neighbor Helps Save Couple From Western Mass House Fire; Both Seriously Burned In Blaze A couple in Hampden County were seriously injured in a house fire Monday morning, Dec. 18, but it could have been much worse if not for a neighbor who saw the smoke and rushed to help, authorities said.  The fire began just before 8 a.m. at 88 Stafford Holland Road in Wales. They wrote McFadden suffered a stroke and took a hard fall, causing a traumatic brain injury. Massachusetts State Trooper Trainee Accidentally Shoots Himself In The Leg A trainee at the Massachusetts State Police Academy is in the hospital after accidentally shooting himself in the leg, an MSP spokesperson said.  The trainee accidentally discharged his firearm during a training exercise at the academy in New Braintree on the morning of Wednesday, July 6. the spokesperson said.  The trainee was treated at UMass Medical Center for a non-life-threatening injury and is expected to return to training Thursday, the spokesperson added. The incident remains under investigation.

Troopers arrested Worcester County resident Bryan Walker, age 39, of Fitchburg, on Friday, Feb. 18, for the incident which took place on Wednesday, Feb. 16. The man’s wife, Saharbanoo Rinadani, 76, was found dead in a Park Village Apartment, 135 Main St., in Westborough on Saturday, March 6, the Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D.
