Double-Fatal Crash: 44-Year-Old Hartford Women ID'd As Victims On I-84 In Manchester Two women were killed in an overnight wrong-way crash in Connecticut. It happened in Hartford County just before 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10 in the town of Manchester. That's when Connecticut State Police say a 2008 Audi Q7 was traveling the wrong direction on Interstate 84 eastbound in the right lane, west of Exit 62. It happened in Hartford County around 10:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 3 in Wethersfield. According to Connecticut State Police, Taj Andre Beckford, of Bloomfield, was driving a Suzuki motorcycle northbound on Route 5/15 just north of the on-ramp for Route 314 when he hit another motorcycle lying in the roadway, but not the driver identified as Jordan Barnes, age 20, of Newington. 46-Year-Old Killed After Vehicle Crashes Into Guardrail In Region, Police Say A Connecticut man was killed in a single-vehicle crash after allegedly losing control of his vehicle. The crash took place in Hartford County around 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 8 on Route 9 in Berlin. According to the Connecticut State Police, Angel Ruiz, age 46, of New Britain, was traveling southbound on Route 9 when he lost control of his 2014 Yamaha YZFR1 motorcycle and collided with a metal beam guardrail adjacent to the right shoulder.
