Person Struck By Train In Massachusetts A person was struck by an Amtrak train while trespassing on the racks in Hampden County. The incident took place around 10:22 p.m., Wednesday, March 31 when an individual was trespassing in Holyoke and came into contact with Amtrak Valley Flyer Train 494 traveling between New Haven and Greenfield, said Jason Abrams, a spokesperson for Amtrak. There were no reported injuries to passengers on board or crew members, he added. The Amtrak Police Department has been working with local law enforcement to investigate.
