A 64-year-old western Massachusetts man who hit and killed a couple last year in Hampshire County will face manslaughter charges in the deaths, authorities announced on Tuesday, March 7.
Stuart A. Larkin, 64, of South Hadley, is accused of crashing into Edward O. Hanlon Jr., 81, and Ilona L. Murray, 60, on Aug. 2 as they walked across Route 10 near Burger King, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said.

Woman Charged After Bicyclist Killed In Crash In Massachusetts
A Western Massachusetts woman who struck and killed a bicyclist will face charges of negligent motor vehicle homicide, authorities said.
Hampshire County resident Haley Kelly-Sherette, age 23, of Williamsburg, will be arraigned Friday, Nov. 5 in connection with the death of 69-year-old Charles Braun.
The investigation revealed Kelly-Sherette failed to stop for a stop sign as she used Facetime while driving, said Laurie Loisel, director of communications for the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office.
