A 53-year-old man from Westborough is accused of killing his 82-year-old mother outside of a hotel in Marlborough this week, according to officials. Daniel Uhlman is facing several charges including armed assault to murder a person over 60 in connection with the death of his mother Nancy Uhlman, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office reports. Construction Workers Injured After 25-Foot Fall In Marlborough: Fire Department
Two construction workers were hospitalized after falling about 25 feet off scaffolding near the Marlborough Public Library, fire officials confirm to Daily Voice. Firefighters got a call reporting the fall around 8:25 a.m. on Friday Feb. 10, Assistant Fire Chief Jeff Emanuelson told Daily Voice. Upon arrival, crews transported two male workers to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Emanuelson said. Both had significant but not life-threatening injuries. The incident is under investigation by Marlborough Police and OSHA officials.

A police standoff in Marlborough that lasted several hours started with destruction of property and ended in tears – literally. Marlborough Police responded to a report of a man smashing windows and breaking furniture in his trailer at Val's Mobile Home Park around 1:17 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11, Sgt.
