Driver Who Dragged Trooper During Western Mass Traffic Stop ID'd: Cops A 45-year-old Franklin County man was tracked down by police dogs Friday evening, Sept. 22, after authorities say he dragged a trooper with his car in what began as a routine traffic stop.  Michael J. Car Crash Into Townsend Home Leads To Arrest Of Man Wanted By Leominster Police A 46-year-old man from New Hampshire, who was wanted by police in Central Massachusetts, was apprehended after he crashed his car into a home this weekend, according to authorities.  Dennis Legere, of Mason, NH, was arrested and charged after he allegedly fled a traffic stop and crashed into a Townsend home just before 5 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, Townsend Police Chief James Sartell reports.  The crash came after an officer tried pulling over a gray 2021 Buick Encore, driven by Legere, that was speeding near the Lunenburg line. Police learned that the car had crashed in…
