Jeffrey Fleury of Turners Falls, who was found guilty of raping a child for years, will spend at least 12 years in prison, authorities said. A judge ruled this week that Fleury will serve between 12 to 14 years behind bars after the jury returned its guilty verdict last month, Franklin County court records show. Man Accused Of Stabbing Wife To Death In Massachusetts
A Berkshire County man is facing a murder charge for allegedly stabbing his wife to death, the District Attorney's Office announced. Luis Rosado, age 49, of North Adams, was arrested Thursday morning, June 2, in connection to the death of his wife, Jillian Rosado. He was taken into custody without incident at around 8:30 a.m. at an apartment on Fenn Street in Pittsfield, the DA announced. One person was killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle crash after one of the drivers allegedly crossed the yellow line and hit the other vehicle head-on. The identities have been released for the man and woman who were found dead near a Jeep that was submerged in a river over the weekend. 10-Pound Salt Keg Filled With Fentanyl Among Drugs Seized In Bust
Police allegedly found a 10-pound plastic keg of drugs among other narcotics during the execution of a search warrant on Saturday, Oct. 3. The drugs were allegedly found at 178 High St., an apartment in Clinton. Police arrested the home’s resident Alberto Valdez on the charges of trafficking in cocaine and trafficking in fentanyl, police said.
