The popular eatery Southbridge Street eatery announced on Facebook recently that they had launched the truck and would put it to the test at last weekend's Applefest.

Chief Operating Officer of George's Coney Island Solon Kelleher gave fans a virtual tour of the new food truck through their Facebook page and explained what to expect from it going forward.

"We got countless questions about weddings and parties and sporting events and all these catering things that we really couldn't do unless we had one of these big kitchens on wheels," Kelleher says in the video. "So we finally decided it was time to do it about a year and a half ago."

The restaurant celebrated 100 years in 2018 and is a staple of downtown Worcester.
