It happened around 10 a.m. Saturday, July 29 in Litchfield County on Route 6 in Woodbury. The victim, Robert C. Gardner, age 56, a resident of Woodbury, was operating a 2006 Subaru Baja Sport when a 2004 Dodge Dakota crossed over the double yellow line on Route 6 near Woodbury Place and crashed into it, Connecticut State Police said. The incident took place in Litchfield County around 5:25 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 29 in Woodbury at the Woodbury Green South Plaza at 787 Main Street South. According to Connecticut State Police, troopers were dispatched for a reported assault. Moose On Loose In Region A large moose seems to have made quite a journey over the past few days, with multiple sightings in parts of Fairfield County. Meteorologist Jack Drake shared photos and videos on his Facebook page of a large moose that was spotted at the AMC movie theater in Danbury on Monday, Sept. 26.
