These 7 Mass Liberal Arts Colleges Rank Among Top 20 In US, New Report Says
The grades are in, and these colleges are a cut above the rest.
Of the top 20 liberal arts colleges in the United States, four can be found in Massachusetts, three in New York, and one in Connecticut, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2023 National Liberal Arts Colleges Rankings.
They are:
No. 1 - Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts
No. 2 - Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts
No. 4 - Wellesley College in Wellesley, Massachusetts (Tied with Pomona College in Claremont, California and Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania)

These Mass Communities Boast Some Of 'Most Enviable' Lifestyles In US, New Study Says
Three thousand Americans voted to determine the American suburb with the most enviable lifestyle, and five Massachusetts communities made the list.
A handful of Massachusetts suburbs were named among the 175 suburbs with the most "enviable lifestyle" in America, according to Moving Feedback, an online platform designed to help people move.
Brookline, Needham, and Wellesley, all in Norfolk County, scored spots 91, 147, and 156, respectively.
Two Middlesex County communities, Newton and Weston, came in at spots 167 and 175, respectively.

$33 Million Mega Millions Prize Won Off Ticket Sold In Western Mass Claimed
A $33 million Mega Millions Jackpot prize that was won off a ticket sold in Western Massachusetts earlier this year has been claimed, lottery officials said.
The Skylark Group Trust of Wellesley claimed the prize won in the game's Tuesday, Jan 24 drawing on Wednesday, March 1, the Massachusetts State Lottery reports.
The Trust, represented by trustee David M. Lipshutz, opted for a one-time total payment of $17,441,861 (before taxes), according to the lottery.
The winning jackpot originally was $31 million, but grew to $33 million after sales from all participating lotteries were counted…
These Massachusetts Colleges Rank Among Nation's 50 Most Expensive
Five Massachusetts colleges are among the most expensive four-year institutions in the United States, according to a report from CBS News.
On March 10, the news outlet shared a ranking of the 50 most expensive colleges in the country based on information from The National Center for Education Statistics.
The following Massachusetts colleges made the list:
Amherst College, Amherst, ranked 3rd
Tufts University, Medford, 5th
Wellesley College, Wellesley, 10th
Boston College, Chestnut Hill, 21st
