58-Year-Old Killed In Chain-Reaction Crash In Region A 58-year-old Connecticut man was killed in a seven-vehicle chain-reaction crash on I-84. The crash took place in Hartford County around 5 a.m., on I-84 in West Hartford near Exit 44. According to the Connecticut State Police, Gary Michael Carter, of Enfield, was killed when his 2017 Volvo TT hit the back of a Connecticut transit bus stopped in traffic in the right center lane of four on I-84. Tolland county resident Jaidyn Bolduc, age 11, was killed around 8:15 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 2, during a two-vehicle crash on I-84 in the town of Vernon, said the. Connecticut State Police. According to state police,  the crash occurred when both vehicles, a Volvo and a Ford Fiesta were traveling eastbound when they collided for an unknown reason, causing disabling damage to both vehicles.
