Update: ID Released For 23-Year-Old Hit, Killed By Amtrak Train In Region Police have released the identity of a man who was hit and killed by an Amtrak train in Connecticut. Hartford County resident Amani Abele Ashley, age 23, of Bristol, was killed around 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 30 while walking along the train tracks near the intersection of Surrey Lane in Berlin. Man From Region Hit, Killed By Train, Officials Say A Connecticut man was killed after being hit by a train in Fairfield County. The incident place around 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 4 in the vicinity of the Cos Cob station. Killed was Hartford County resident Michael Haden Crouse, age 38, of Newington, said MTA Police Department spokesperson Aaron Donovan. Trains were delayed for about 50 minutes as investigators worked, officials said. MTA Police are investigating. Additional information was not available at this time.
