Update: ID Released For 23-Year-Old Hit, Killed By Amtrak Train In Region Police have released the identity of a man who was hit and killed by an Amtrak train in Connecticut. Hartford County resident Amani Abele Ashley, age 23, of Bristol, was killed around 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 30 while walking along the train tracks near the intersection of Surrey Lane in Berlin. Fitchburg Commuter Rail Suspended After Person Killed By Train In Concord Travel on the Fitchburg Commuter Rail Line was suspended after a person was struck and killed by a train in Concord, MBTA officials confirm to Daily Voice.  An adult female intentionally walked in front of an oncoming train near the Belknap Street Crossing on the morning of Wednesday, July 13, NBC Boston and officials report. Man From Region Hit, Killed By Train, Officials Say A Connecticut man was killed after being hit by a train in Fairfield County. The incident place around 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 4 in the vicinity of the Cos Cob station. Killed was Hartford County resident Michael Haden Crouse, age 38, of Newington, said MTA Police Department spokesperson Aaron Donovan. Trains were delayed for about 50 minutes as investigators worked, officials said. MTA Police are investigating. Additional information was not available at this time.

Person Struck By Train In Western Mass A person was struck by an Amtrak train while trespassing on the racks in Hampden County. The incident took place around 10:22 p.m., Wednesday, March 31 when an individual was trespassing in Holyoke and came into contact with Amtrak Valley Flyer Train 494 traveling between New Haven and Greenfield, said Jason Abrams, a spokesperson for Amtrak.
