Man Trespasses, Interferes With House Fire Response In Region, Police Say A 25-year-old Fairfield County man faces charges after allegedly interfering with officers as they responded to a house fire in Litchfield County, police said.  The incident happened on Tuesday, April 25 around 8 a.m., when police responded to a house in Harwinton at 100 Wildcat Hill Rd. for a reported structure fire, according to state police.  While troopers responded to the fire, 25-year-old Stratford resident Ronald Nelson allegedly trespassed onto the scene and interfered with police while they were investigating the blaze.  Nelson was then arrested and charged with the…

Employee Accused Of Intentionally Setting Fire At Lanesborough Restaurant An employee of a Western Massachusetts restaurant is accused of intentionally setting the building on fire over the weekend. Authorities in Berkshire County received a report of a fire at Olde Forge Restaurant, located at 125 North Main St. in Lanesborough, at about 10 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28, according to the Lanesborough Police Department. The Cheshire, Dalton, Hancock, and Hinsdale fire departments responded to assist the Lanesborough Fire Department and found fire coming from the back of the building.
