Kid Hit By Car In Auburn While Going To School
A 9-year-old was hit by a car while going to school Tuesday morning, Nov. 28, in Auburn. The child was struck at the intersection of Oxford St. North and Inwood Drive, Auburn police said. The child suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Auburn police closed down the intersection as they investigated the incident. "This accident happened as kids were headed to school," Auburn police said in a Facebook post. "Thankfully this time the child will be physically okay… please let this be a reminder to pay extra attention while driving."

Police are asking for the public's help to find the driver who crashed into a pedestrian Tuesday afternoon, May 23, and sped away in Hampshire County, officials said. The crash happened on Damon Road in Northampton just after 2 p.m. at the intersection of River Run Road. A woman remains in critical condition following a hit-and-run crash in Chicopee on Wednesday, Dec. 28, authorities announced. Reports like this have become all too common in recent months as this marks the fifth person hit by a vehicle in the city in the past three months, reports said. Woman, 25, And Her Dog Killed While Taking Walk In West Springfield: Police
A 25-year-old woman was hit by a car and killed while walking her dog Tuesday afternoon in West Springfield, authorities said. The woman, whose name was not released, was walking near the intersection of Piper Rd and Monastery Ave just after 5:30 p.m. when a car crashed into her, West Springfield police said. Responders rushed her to a nearby hospital, but doctors could not save her life. The woman's dog was also killed in the wreck. The driver remained on the scene and was cooperating with investigators. A man has died following a pedestrian-involved crash in one Western Massachusetts city, authorities said. Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Western Mass
A pedestrian by a vehicle in Western Massachusetts suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The incident took place in Hampshire County around 12:30 p.m Saturday, Aug. 14 in the area of Main and Masonic streets in Northampton, said Detective Lt. Craig Kirouac. Pedestrian Killed By Vehicle Driving On Wrong Side Of Roadway In Region
A Connecticut woman was killed by a vehicle that was traveling on the wrong side of a busy roadway. The crash happened in New Haven County at around 7:20 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13 in Milford. The victim was a 60-year-old woman from Milford, according to Milford Police. The woman was walking Herbert Street when a vehicle, traveling north, crossed the centerline and struck her as she walked westbound on the side of the roadway, police said.
