Fatal Christmas Crash: 23-Year-Old Passenger ID'd As Victim On Roadway In Region One person was killed and another seriously injured in a single-vehicle Christmas Day crash in Connecticut. It happened around 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 25 in Litchfield County on Route 44 (Canaan Road) in the town of Salisbury. The vehicle was traveling eastbound in the area of Twin Lakes Road when the driver lost control and traveled across the westbound lane and shoulder, subsequently exiting the roadway, where it collided with a tree, Connecticut State Police said.  The passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Man Charged With Illegal Gun Possession After Crash In Region A Connecticut man has been charged with illegal gun possession after state police found a loaded gun while investigating a crash. The incident took place in Litchfield County around 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2, in the town of Norfolk. According to Connecticut State Police, troopers responded to a crash on Route 44 in Norfolk, where Hartford County resident David Kulikowski, age 39, of Avon, drove his Toyota Corolla off the road on Route 44 and collided with a concrete barrier. Man Accused Of Burglarizing Home In Region A 33-year-old New York man is accused of burglarizing a Connecticut home.  Police responded to a report of a burglary in the Litchfield County town of Norfolk at about 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, according to Connecticut State Police.  At the scene, troopers found a hammer and crowbar used to pry open a kitchen window, and the homeowner said he had security footage of the suspect entering an unsecured entryway toward the area where the tools were found, police said.  Police said the suspect fled the scene before troopers arrived.  Authorities later were able to ide…
