Retired Lenox Nurse, 66, ID'd As Body Found In Berkshire Mountains 3 Months After She Vanished Authorities in Berkshire County have identified the remains of a woman found on Lenox Mountain as a 66-year-old who disappeared in October.  Susan Lockwood, of Lenox, vanished on Oct. 30, 2023, and despite multiple searches since then, her body was not found, Lenox police said. Body Of US Airman Jacob Galliher Of Pittsfield Returns Home The body of a Berkshire County-born US Airman killed in Japan will return home on Friday, Dec. 15, and the community has planned a public funeral procession to honor his sacrifice.  Staff Sgt. Jacob Galliher, age 24, of Pittsfield, died when the Osprey he was in crashed near the island of Yakushima, Japan, on Nov. 29 during a training exercise. On Monday, Jan. 25, police arrested Patrick Sheerin, 28, on five counts of armed robbery, police said. The robberies took place in Lenox and Pittsfield starting on Sunday, Jan. 24, around 7 p.m. and going into Monday. The first three stores were robbed in a span of 25 minutes.
