‘Ted’ Prequel Series Filled With Mass Jokes, Accents Debuts On Peacock
Massachusetts’ favorite sentient teddy bear, voiced by “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane, returns with a seven-episode limited series on Peacock.
MacFarlane reprises his role in the “Ted” TV series, a prequel to the hit film franchise set in Framingham.
“It’s 1993, and Ted’s (MacFarlane) moment of fame has passed,” a description of the show reads. “He’s now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach) and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham).”

Drugs, Cash, Cars, Pablo Escobar Art: Massive Raid Seizes $1M, Busts 13 Across State: DA
Police carried out 19 raids across the state Thursday morning, April 13, and hauled in an amount of drugs and cash that would have made Pablo Escobar proud, authorities said. That's probably why officers found a painting of the former drug kingpin in one of the searches, authorities said.
Though, like their hero Escobar, 13 people involved in the drug trade found themselves in jail, authorities said.

Two Passengers Ejected, Killed In Weekend Rollover Crash In Webster
Two people have died in a rollover crash in Central Massachusetts, authorities said.
Leeha Thompson, age 21, of Southbridge, and Carlos Ortiz-Pomales, age 20, of Framingham, were killed in the Worcester County crash that happened on I-395 southbound in Webster the morning of Sunday, June 26, Massachusetts State Police said.
Responding troopers discovered three passengers were ejected from the vehicle and all three, including the driver, were taken to UMass Medical for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
Man Drove Nearly Five Times Over Legal Limit During Morning Commute, Mass State Police Say
A 41-year-old man was busted driving on the Massachusetts Turnpike with a blood alcohol content nearly five times the legal limit, State Police said.
State troopers in Middlesex County were called at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25 to assist with a motor vehicle stop after an erratic driver of a Chevy Cruze was stopped on Route 90 in Framingham.
Police said that during the stop, it was determined that the driver, Worcester County resident Ryan Carey, of the Town of Douglas, was allegedly intoxicated, showing signs that included speech, bloodshot eyes, and the smell of alcohol …
