A 45-year-old Franklin County man was tracked down by police dogs Friday evening, Sept. 22, after authorities say he dragged a trooper with his car in what began as a routine traffic stop. Michael J. Williams, of Greenfield, was arrested following an hours-long manhunt and faces several felony charges, State police said. Massachusetts Fugitive Sends Police On Wild Goose Chase Through 3 Towns
A 24-year-old Massachusetts man is due in court after evading arrest and leading a police pursuit through three towns, authorities said. Police responded to a call about a possible fight inside a Foxborough apartment around 1:38 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, Foxborough Police said on Facebook. Upon arrival, a "distraught victim" brought an officer inside where a struggle with the suspect ensued. Western Mass Man Driving Recklessly Injures Deputy, Police Say
A Western Massachusetts man has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon after injuring a sheriff's deputy while driving recklessly. The incident took place in Hampden County in Springfield around 11:45 a.m., Thursday, June 9.
