54-Year-Old Shot, Killed At Intersection In Region A 58-year-old Connecticut man was found shot to death at a busy intersection. The homicide took place in Hartford around 3:40 a.m., Friday, Oct 21 in the area of Wethersfield Avenue at Elliott Street. According to Hartford Police Lt. Aaron Boisvert, officers responded to the area on a report of a person shot.  When officers arrived they found Raymond Lewis, of Hartford, unresponsive, Boisvert said. Lewis was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, he added. The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and assumed the investigation. …

Two Men Found Dead After Single-Car Crash In Western Mass Two people were found dead inside a car that crashed off a roadway and into the woods in the region, authorities said. Massachusetts State Police troopers in Hampden County from the Town of Russell barracks responded to the single-vehicle crash on Old Westfield Road in Granville Saturday, Sept. 25 at around 7:20 a.m. The vehicle was discovered 30 feet into a woodline and had been there for some time, said state police.
