Police Asking For Witnesses To Fatal Crash In Litchfield County State police are asking witnesses to a single-car crash that killed a Terryville man on Route 8 in Watertown to come forward. The crash took place in Litchfield County around 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 23 on Route 8 south of the Exit 38 on-ramp in Watertown. According to state police, John Wujcik, age 50, of Terryville, was driving a Jeep Wrangler southbound on Route 8 when it veered off the right side of the roadway and crashed into the rock ledge embankment. 24-Year-Old From Region Killed In 2-Vehicle Crash A 24-year-old Connecticut man was killed in a two-vehicle crash early this morning.  The crash took place in Hartford around 2:40 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 29 in the area of Capitol Avenue at Laurel Street. According to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police, patrol officers responded to the area for a report of a serious crash involving two vehicles.  Upon arrival, officers found a 2009 Nissan Rogue just east of the intersection in the middle of the roadway. Man Shot While Lying In Bed In Region A man was shot to death while lying in his bed at a Connecticut home. The 32-year-old Hartford County man was found around when police responded to a Unionville home for a report of a shooting at around 11 p.m., Wednesday, March 16. Man On Highway Killed After Being Struck By Two Cars In Western Mass Police are investigating after a man was fatally struck by two cars while walking on a highway in Western Massachusetts.  Massachusetts State Police said troopers responded at about 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, to I-291 westbound, near the 1.5-mile marker in Springfield.
