Stray Bullet Hits Home In Western Mass Neighborhood — Again Neighbors in a Hampshire County community were once again rattled after a stray bullet struck a home for the second time in a year, police said.  The latest shooting happened on Mountain View Drive in Belchertown on Friday afternoon, March 29, when a bullet shattered a sliding glass door, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said.  No one was at home at the time of the shooting and there were no injuries reported. Springfield Woman ID'd As Fatal Shooting Victim In West Springfield Police have identified the woman who they found shot and bleeding in a West Springfield parking lot as a 43-year-old Springfield woman.  Angela Mercado was found shot just before 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, in a parking lot on Riverdale Road, West Springfield police said.
