A 31-year-old man from Boston admitted to trafficking a 17-year-old girl for sex at hotels in Hartford, Connecticut, and New York City, officials said. A former MBTA transit police sergeant was arrested and charged this week with lying and falsifying documents to cover up an assault from another officer in a Boston-area train station in 2018, authorities said.
