Dedham Teen Killed In Moped Crash: Memorial For Madison Park Student Nears Its Goal The family of a Norfolk County 17-year-old who died in a moped versus dump truck crash in Dedham last month said he was a good student who dreamed of opening his own business someday.  Rakeem Akile Austin Jr died on Feb. 28 after paramedics rushed him to Faulkner Hospital following the crash near 21 Washington Street, but he did not survive his injuries. The dump truck driver remained on the scene, and prosecutors have not issued any charges in the case. (Update) Dump Truck Vs. Moped: Police ID Teen Killed In Dedham Crash A 17-year-old was killed Tuesday morning, Feb. 28, in a crash involving his moped and a commercial dump truck near the West Roxbury Line in Dedham.  Rakeem Akile Austin, of Dorchester, was driving the motorbike around 11:15 a.m. near 21 Washington Street when the dump truck collided with the moped. Paramedics rushed the teen to Faulkner Hospital, but doctors could not save his life, the Norfolk District Attorney's Office said.  The passenger on the moped was also taken to the hospital, but the prosecutor's office did not release any information on their injuries.
