Hit-Run Death: Roxbury Driver Charged With Killing Elderly Man At Mass & Cass Police charged a 36-year-old Roxbury man with speeding away after he crashed into and killed a 73-year-old as he pushed a wheelchair near the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard last month, authorities said.  Abner Jean-Baptiste faces charges of motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation and leaving the scene of an accident after causing injury or death, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said on Friday, Feb. 10.  Boston police were called to the intersection just after 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 20 and found Michael E.
