$1M Lottery Jackpot: Everett Woman Hoped To Win $500, Walks Away Millionaire An Everett woman has won the fourth and final $1 million prize for the Massachusetts State Lottery's "Hit $500" game.  Cecile Caruso hoped she would win the $500 option, but it was a golden ticket worth $1 million.  Caruso chose to take the lump-sum payment of $650,000 rather than the annuity.  She bought the winning ticket at Kipo’s Market & Deli at 42 Bradford St. in Everett. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale.

$1M Lottery Win: Billerica Man Decides To Treat Himself For Christmas, Walks Away A Millionaire A Billerica man who said he rarely plays the lottery decided to indulge himself during the holiday season with a $20 scratch-off ticket and won $1 million.  Paul Peterson won the seven-figure windfall playing the “$10,000,000 Cash Blast” game.  Related: Saugus Woman Wins $25K A Year With Special Set Of Numbers He chose to take the $650,000 lump sum (before taxes) rather than the annuity.  Peterson said he wants to buy a home with the money.  He bought the ticket at Alltown at 1 Republic Rd. in Billerica.
