Police responded to the area of 215 Norwell Street in Dorchester around just after 12 p.m. on Monday, August 1, Boston Police said.
Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
