Tyler Falconer Given Probation In Animal Abuse Case: DA
A former Burlington firefighter who ran a dog training and boarding business was given probation after he declined to fight the charges of animal abuse made against him, authorities said. Tyler Falconer, 31, pleaded to a continuance without a finding on two counts of animal cruelty by a custodian and was given two years probation, the Suffolk County District Attorney said. Investigators believe the blaze that torched an unoccupied home in Newton on Wednesday, April 24, began when a container of oily rags burst into flames. Newtown firefighters were called to the 8 Central Ave. home at 11:30 a.m. after neighbors spotted smoking coming from the 2-and-a-half-story wood-framed home, the State Fire Marshal's Office said. Chicopee Man Gets Up To 13 Years In Prison For Raping Multiple Children: DA
A Hampden County man found guilty of multiple heinous crimes against two children will spend more than a decade behind bars, a judge ruled this week. Kenneth Arroyo, 41, of Chicopee, was sentenced to 12 to 13 years in prison after being convicted of two counts each of aggravated rape of a child, indecent assault and battery over 14, and indecent assault and battery under 14, the Hampden District Attorney said. A stray bullet hit a man in the leg as he drove through Braintree Wednesday afternoon, April 24, when a road rage incident turned violent, police said. Police have identified the body of a man found dead behind a Framingham restaurant over the weekend Anthony Junior Lopez was found behind Hot Table, where he worked. A 60-year-old Somerville man was arrested and charged with groping two women while performing chiropractic adjustments on them. However, he is not a licensed chiropractor, police said.
