57-Year-Old Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Cement Truck Crash In Boston Police have identified the man who was hit by a cement truck as he crossed the street on Tuesday, April 2, in South Boston and have released some preliminary findings from their investigation.  Fernando R. His name is being witheld pending family notification.  The driver of the cement truck is a 53-year-old Medford man who was driving a truck owned by Boston Sand and Gravel.
