Methuen Brunch Spot Closes After Years Of Making Customers Feel Like Family A brunch restaurant is closing its doors, saying that nothing they have done to try and save their business worked.  Savastano's, located on Merrimack Street in Methuen, announced that the brunch restaurant would close permanently on Friday, June 30 via a Facebook post. The eatery, known for its home-cooked breakfasts and lunches, opened only months before the COVID-19 pandemic began necessitating non-essential business closures.  It shut down for three months in 2020 and never recovered, according to the Facebook post.  The closure is not due to a lack of regulars, according to the post…
