Nationwide Recall: Charcuterie Trays Sold At Costco, Sam's Club Linked To Salmonella Outbreak The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has ordered a recall of two different charcuterie meat trays after they were linked to a salmonella outbreak. Forty-seven people across 22 states have gotten sick with salmonella after eating the potentially contaminated meats, which are sold at Costco and Sam’s Club locations across the country, the CDC announced on Thursday, Jan. 18. 456,000 Waffle Makers Recalled Due To Burn Hazard, With Dozens Of Injury Reports Nearly half a million waffle makers are being recalled due to a burn hazard that has resulted in dozens of injuries. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of 456,000  PowerXL Stuffed Wafflizer waffle makers on Thursday, May 18 after 44 reports of incidents including 34 burn injuries with three requiring medical attention. "Hot pieces of the waffle or stuffing can be expelled from the waffle maker during use or upon opening the product, posing a burn risk to consumers," the CPSC said. Clorox Recalls Pine-Sol Cleaners Due To Infection-Causing Bacteria Parent company Clorox is recalling eight Pine-Sol disinfectant cleaning products due to fears they may contain infection-causing bacteria, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced. To date, testing has identified bacteria in certain recalled products, including those produced between January 2021 and September 2022. Clorox produced approximately 37 million recalled products in that period, the CPSC said.
