Watertown Bar Taffer's Tavern Has Closed The Watertown bar Taffer's Tavern has closed less than 18 months after it opened.  Taffer's Tavern at Arsenal Yards closed its doors for good over the weekend, reports said. Jon Taffer, host of “Bar Rescue” on the Paramount+ Network, franchised the location.  Calls to the 541 Arsenal St. bar go to a voicemail confirming the closure.  Peter Weber and Marc Magerman, Taffer's Tavern Watertown management team, sent a message to Boston Restaurant Talk saying they had "decided to pursue other business endeavors."
