Former Rowley Police Officer Faces Rape Allegations A former Rowley police officer is currently under investigation for an allegation of misconduct, the Essex County District Attorney's Office confirmed to Daily Voice.  The officer retired in May, 2022 after three decades of policing, but was recently working as a special officer when allegations of rape were made against him, according to NBC10. The assault allegedly occurred while the officer was still working for the Rowley Police Department.  The officer, who has yet to be identified because of the active investigation, is being represented by a lawyer who told NBC10 that …
