Update: Man Found Dead In Saugus Reservation Likely Fell To His Death A family friend was searching for a missing Essex County hiker when he came across the man's body, officials said.  A 65-year-old Saugus man was found dead in Breakheart Reservation in Saugus around 6:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug 16, according to the Massachusetts State Police Department.  The man went to Breakheart Reservation around 8 a.m. on Wednesday to find a missing piece of property. Update: Pedestrian, 39, Hit By SUV On Route 1 In Peabody A man was transported to the hospital after being hit by an SUV on Route 1, officials say.  A 39-year-old pedestrian, from Mashpee, received serious injuries when he was hit by a 2021 Toyota Highlander on Route 1 in Peabody around 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, according to the Massachusetts State Police Department.
