The Wheelhouse Diner Set To Go 'Out With A Bang' On June 30 A popular Quincy diner that has been a South Shore staple for years announced this week that it will close this summer rather than continue to fight with its new landlords.  The Wheelhouse Diner posted a lengthy message on its Facebook page on Wednesday, May 15, explaining that the 453 Hancock Street restaurant would close on June 30.  Owner LeeAnn Vieira McDonough called the decision to close "bittersweet," but said she plans to go "out with a bang."
