Boston Man Convicted Of Raping Child In 1990s Gets 10 Years In Prison: DA A 61-year-old Boston man who was convicted this week of repeatedly raping a young girl a decade ago will spend a decade in prison, officials said.  Edgard Andre, of Dorchester, was sentenced to 10 to 12 years behind bars on Wednesday, Nov. 23, after his conviction earlier this week, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said. Jury Convicts Boston Man On Child Rape Charges From The 1990s: DA A jury convicted a Boston man of three counts of child rape in a case that dates back to the 1990s, the Suffolk Couty District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday, Nov. 22.  Edgard Andre will be sentenced on Wednesday following his conviction, the prosecutor said.  The victim testified that Andre raped her repeatedly when she was between the ages of 8 and 12 years old in the 90s, authorities said.
