Foxboro Mom Was Drunk With Child In Her Car When She Collided With Ambulance: Police

A Norfolk County woman who was involved in a head-on collision with an ambulance last month was intoxicated and had a child in the car, authorities said.

Jenna Wilson, age 40, of Foxborough, faces several felony charges from the Feb. 22 crash that sent five people to the emergency room, Foxborough police said. The child was airlifted to a Boston trauma hospital because of the extent of their injuries. 

The crash happened just after 6:30 p.m. on Main Street in Foxborough when Wilson's Honda Pilot crossed the center line and into the northbound traffic lane, authorities said. The ambulance had two paramedics on board and a patient they were transporting. 

Wilson is charged with: 

  • OUI-liquor or .08 percent and serious injury and negligence (two counts) 
  • Child endangerment while OUI
  • Negligent operation of motor vehicle
  • Marked lane violation
  • Reckless endangerment of a child
