Driver Dies After Crashing Into Sherborn Tree At Double Speed Limit: Police A driver was killed after crashing their car into a tree in Sherborn while going twice the speed limit, police said.  The driver was traveling into Sherborn from Framingham on Friday, Jan. 26, around 9:20 p.m. at a high rate of speed before losing control of their car and colliding into a tree, according to police. The 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit started sliding, and the driver-side hit the tree, causing the roof to cave in.
