Somerville Man, 37, Dies 'Doing What He Loved Most,' Family Organizes Tribute Event The family of an avid motorcyclist is memorializing his passion for bikes with a gathering they plan to hold yearly. Steve Delaney, Jr, of Somerville, died in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, May 27 at 37 years old, according to his obituary and a GoFundMe created for his funeral expenses.  Delaney was an "adored" father, son, grandson, and brother, his obituary said.  "Our family is beyond crushed, heart broken, devastated and shocked to say the least," reads the description of the GoFundMe created by his sister. Weymouth 19-Year-Old Thrown From Motorcycle, Dies Over Mother's Day Weekend A family from the South Shore is "shocked and heartbroken" after they lost one of their own in a motorcycle crash over Mother's Day weekend.  Police responded to a single motorcycle crash near 86 Charles Street in Weymouth just after 11 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, Weymouth Police said on Facebook. While going down Charles Street, the motorcyclist struck a telephone pole and was thrown from the vehicle, police said. East Boston Man, 44, Killed In Motorcycle Crash On Route 1A In Revere: Police A 44-year-old man from East Boston has died in a motorcycle crash in Revere this week, according to authorities.  State Troopers responded to the crash on North Shore Road (Route 1A) at Agawam Street around 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, Massachusetts State Police Spokesperson Dave Procopio reports. Motorcycle Operator Killed In Single-Vehicle Lynnfield Accident: Police A man died in a single-motorcycle accident reported by multiple 911 calls, officials say.  The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13 in the area of 340 to 360 Chestnut Street, according to the Lynnfield Police Department. The operator suffered fatal injuries.  Police officers and firefighters from Lynnfield responded to the scene.  This incident is under investigation by the Lynnfield Police and the State Police.

Cycling Legend, 64, Dies From Wounds Following Acton Crash Last Month; Police Investigating The Middlesex District Attorney's Office announced on Tuesday, Nov. 29, that police are investigating a fatal Oct. 31 wreck between a car and motorcycle in Acton.  Philip Keyes, 64 of Acton, died weeks following the crash.  Keyes was riding his motorcycle along Great Road when he crashed into an 82-year-old Chelmsford woman in a Subaru driving in the opposite direction around noon, authorities said. Boston Area Motorcyclist, 67, Dies After Apparently Striking Tree: Police A 67-year-old Chelsea motorcyclist has died after apparently losing control of their bike and striking a tree, authorities said. The incident happened just before 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, Chelsea Police said. The operator was pronounced dead at the scene.
