Massachusetts University Student Killed, 27 Injured In Shuttle Bus Crash One student from Brandeis University is dead and dozens more are injured following a shuttle bus crash in Waltham over the weekend, authorities said. The bus was carrying 30 students when it crashed into a tree on South Street in Waltham around 10:32 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office reports.  The bus was performing a routine route from the Boston and Cambridge area, with one of the stops being a hockey game at Northeastern University, the office continued.  One student, identified as 25-year-old undergraduate Vanessa Mark, was pronounced dead.
