Man From Region Nabbed In Sting For Setting Up Sex With Minor, Police Say A Connecticut man was nabbed in a sting for allegedly setting up a meeting to have sex with a minor in Fairfield County. Hartford County resident Ray Caceres, age 38, of Rocky Hill, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 17, by Greenwich Police. According to Lt. John Slusarz, of the Greenwich Police, over the past several weeks the department's special victims unit conducted an undercover online operation where a detective posed as a 13-year-old girl from Greenwich who was befriended by Caceres. Medical Examiner Issues Ruling In Death Of New England HS Player The death of a Connecticut high school hockey player after an on-ice collision has been ruled accidental. The state's chief medical examiner announced on Monday, Jan. 10 that Teddy Balkind, a 10th-grader at St. Luke’s School in New Canaan, who died on Thursday, Jan. 6, during a game died from an "incised wound of the neck," and the incident was officially ruled as accidental.
