3 Teens Shot, Wounded In Central Mass; Police Asking For Tips Three teenagers — two women and one boy — were shot over the weekend in Worcester, authorities said.  Police were called to the Clarkston Street area to reports of gunshots on Sunday night, April 7, but more emergency calls were placed soon after announcing that multiple people were hurt, Worcester police said.  Officers found two 18-year-old women and a 17-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds when they arrived just before 9:15 p.m. They provided first aid at the scene, and paramedics rushed them to an area hospital, police said.  Their names and conditions were not re…

Mother, Daughter Killed In Worcester Shooting A mother and her daughter were shot and killed in Worcester on Tuesday, March 5.  Officers were called to the area of Lisbon Street and Englewood Avenue just after 3 p.m. when they found the two women in a car with gunshot wounds, Worcester police said. Both suffered critical injuries in the shooting.  Paramedics rushed them to an area hospital, where they later died of their wounds.  Investigators did not release the victims' names.  Police ask anyone with information about the slayings to contact detectives at 508-799-8651.

House Fire: Minor Injuries In Early Morning Holyoke Blaze Firefighters in Hamden County were quick to the scene of an early morning house fire after a 911.  Holyoke firefighters arrived at the 160 Pine Street home just before 5 a.m. in the driving snow when a neighbor noticed the house next door was on fire, authorities said. Despite crews best efforts the high winds pushed the flames onto a nearby home.  Crews were able to get the blaze under control after a short period and rescued a resident of the first home who had minor smoke inhalation injuries, authorities said. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
