Man Shot, Killed On Albemarle St. In Springfield Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Springfield that happened Monday night, Dec. 4.  Officers were called to the 0-100 block of Albemarle Street just after 6 p.m. by a ShotSpotter alert, Springfield police said.  When they arrived, they found a man bleeding from a bullet wound. He was rushed to Baystate Medical Center, where he later died of his injuries, police said.  Authorities did not release the victim's name.  Police ask anyone with information to contact Springfield detectives at 413-787-6355.
