New Supermarket Proposed For Route 20  A Route 20 shopping plaza may be getting a new supermarket. Earlier this year, applicants went before the Planning Board in Westfield seeking a special permit for property at the Westgate Plaza on Route 20 (East Main Street). The applicant, Brixmore SPE, is representing ALDI grocery store. ALDI is a discount food seller that specializes in store-brand organic, allergy-sensitive, and whole foods.
