Police ID 24-Year-Old Killed In Crash With Tractor-Trailer In CT Police identified a 24-year-old man who died in a crash involving a tractor-trailer in Connecticut. The crash happened in the Hartford County town of South Windsor at the intersection of Sullivan Avenue and Rye Street at about 3:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, the South Windsor Police Department reported. Investigation Underway After Possible Grenade Found Buried In CT Yard Authorities are investigating after a possible grenade was found buried in a yard in Connecticut.  Police in Hartford County responded to a location on Troy Road in South Windsor at about 2:45 p.m. on Monday, April 18, according to the South Windsor Police Department.  A man, who was checking the property with a metal detector, reported that he found what appeared to be a grenade buried about a foot under the grass in the front yard, police said.  Police evacuated the area and closed Troy Road between Rye Street and Brookfield Street. Covid-19: CT Man Accused Of Faking Positive Test To Avoid Court Appearance A Connecticut man has been arrested and charged with illegally fabricating a positive COVID-19 test notification in order to avoid appearing before a judge at a scheduled hearing. Junior Jumpp, age 31, of Hartford, was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 28, and charged with one count each of forgery and fabricating physical evidence, according to the Connecticut State Division of Criminal Justice.
