Man Accused Of Holyoke Murder Captured In Puerto Rico: DA A 22-year-old man accused of a fatal shooting in Hampden County before escaping to Puerto Rico will be brought back to face justice three months later, authorities said.  Aleq Rodrigues, of Holyoke, is charged with murder in the killing of 30-year-old Edgar Soto-Irizarry on June 22, the Hampden County District Attorney said.   Soto-Irizarry was found in an apartment building in the 300 block of Appleton Street just before 9:30 a.m. after receiving a 911 call after someone heard a gunshot, police said. Western Mass Road Closed After Head-On Collision; 1 Person Seriously Injured Officers in Greenfield have shut down Route 2 Bypass near Adams Road after a head-on collision Thursday afternoon, June 15.  Drivers should avoid the area as police investigate the crash and clean up the scene. Authorities say it will remain shut down for several hours, which will cause delays for evening commuters.  Police responded to the crash between two trucks around 2 p.m. The driver of one vehicle had to be cut from the cab and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.  Photos from the scene show two smashed trucks in the center of the road with debris littering the asphalt.…

23-Year-Old Ohio Man Killed In Auburn Crash A 23-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, died Thursday morning, Jan. 19, following a multi-car crash in Auburn, officials said.  The Ohio man, whose name was not released, was driving a 2013 Mazda VST east on Route 90 just before 7:30 a.m. when he sideswiped a 60-year-old man's CX5 from Sturbridge, Massachusetts State police said.
