Teacher In Region Accused Of Leaving Kids Home Alone While She Traveled A Connecticut school teacher has been arrested for allegedly leaving two children home alone while she traveled out of the state. Litchfield County resident Kerry Lyn Caviasca, age 36, of Watertown, was arrested on Saturday, Jan. 15, for leaving two children alone for two days and nights, said Detective Mark Conway, of the Watertown Police. According to Conway, the children are ages 9 and 11. She was charged with the risk of injury to a minor and released on a $5,000 bond.
