A federal jury found a 26-year-old Randolph man guilty of turning a 15-year-old runaway from Western Massachusetts into a prostitute, authorities announced. A 40-year-old Martha's Vineyard store owner is accused of robbing a bank in April, where he zip-tied the employees and said he'd planted a bomb on the counter, federal authorities announced this week. Petar Petyoshin, age 40, of Edgartown, is charged with a single count of armed bank robbery, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. He has been held in jail on a related state charge since May. A veteran New York judge from Long Island will be tasked with reviewing documents that were seized by the FBI from former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. FBI agents and Massachusetts State troopers raided several Hell's Angel's clubhouses in Massachusetts, including the North Shore, on Thursday, July 21, news reports said. A Western Massachusetts man has been sentenced to five years in prison for distributing nearly one kilogram of cocaine. Julio Rivera, age 47, of Worcester, was sentenced on Thursday, Dec. 16, after being convicted by a jury in September of distribution and possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine, said Acting US Attorney Nathaniel Mendell. Police have identified the two men arrested in Western Massachusetts in connection with a federal investigation. Holyoke Police Captain Matthew Moriarty identified the two arrested Thursday, April 1, as 31-year-old Harrys Isaac and 34-year-old Reynaldo Pagan-Cruz, both of Holyoke.
