A DoorDash driver on a Dunkin Donuts run in Essex County crashed into a body of water because their GPS gave them bad directions, they told police. The unnamed driver called authorities just after 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, after they splashed down in a large pool of water in Middleton, Middleton police said. 93-Year-Old Killed Riding Tricycle In Crash Near Merrimac Home
Authorities have identified a 93-year-old Massachusetts man killed in a fatal crash late Saturday afternoon, July 1. Robert Whitcomb of Merrimac was struck by a car while riding a tricycle near his home on Bartlett Street just after 5 p.m., Merrimac Police said. Paramedics rushed him to Portsmouth Hospital, but doctors couldn't save his life. The teenage driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, authorities said.
